Physiotherapy is a medical service that targets optimal  musculoskeletal functioning. Supporting a multi-disciplinary approach, Physiotherapy can be acted upon in training and rehabilitation settings for the alleviation of pain and improving physical strength and flexibility.

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy improves circulation, thereby supporting the alleviation of pain, wound healing, and anti-inflammatory treatments. At Equilibro, a Power Laser class 3b device is used, which is known for its effective and non-invasive mechanisms.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy

Through a hands-on approach, manual therapy is used to decrease pain and improve the mobility of joints, soft tissues, and nerves. It can include massage techniques as well as oscillatory mobilisations and joint manipulations. The manual manipulations are better known as chiropractic techniques.

The application of Kinesio Tape supports the alleviation of pain, muscle function, and reduction of swelling. Each indication requires its own Taping technique, enabling a tailored therapeutic approach.

Fascia Therapy targets the elasticity of the connective tissue, helping to improve range of motion and reduce pain, by the use of manual techniques and fascial therapeutic tools.

Exercise Therapy

​

Exercise Therapy refers to the use of tailored exercises to reduce discomfort and improve strength and flexibility. For the horse, such exercise program can include stretching and stabilising stable exercises, in-hand work, lunging exercises, ridden exercises, aqua training, and more.
